Here at the Edgewood we pride ourselves in being our members' home away from home. All of the services we offer, and all of the programs we provide, are centered on the idea that we are all members of one big family sharing in like interests and enjoying the community of a shared passion for Edgewood. This idea of family and community is so integral to the Edgewood club culture that we have woven it into our Mission Statement:
At Edgewood Country Club our mission is to provide all members and guests with a unique club experience. We do this through creating a friendly atmosphere in which we focus on each member’s individual needs and desires.
This Mission Statement is a constant reference point upon which decisions are made, programs are developed and activities are organized. As you navigate through the website, you will see a common theme emerging. From our Golf tournament and Junior Golf Program to our Swim and Fitness programs, our focus is on providing, not only the best, but the most unique and inclusive programs for all members of the family.
Our family activity programming spans all ages and includes a broad range of activities. As you will note in the Family section of this website, there are children participating from very early ages up to and including high school children. These golfers and swimmers quite literally grow up together at Edgewood, forging relationships lasting into adulthood.
While Edgewood is a family club, its roots remain firmly established in golf. With four PGA golf professionals on staff, including myself. Golf is what we do best at Edgewood and is the cornerstone of the club. Our golf tournament program offers something for men, women, couples as golfers of all skill levels. Some tournaments are geared toward the low handicap competitive golfers while others are designed as more of a social activity. Recreational golfers will also find plenty of time to enjoy golf with friends, family and associates. Regardless of your ability, Edgewood offers the opportunity to get out on the course and enjoy a round of golf with your friends, family or fellow club members.
At Edgewood we certainly are passionate about all things golf. Our golf section of the website will guide you through all the information you need to familiarize yourself with our golf course, tournaments and lessons and its well trained and attentive staff.
Edgewood is also passionate about the dining experience. The dining section of the website outlines the dining options. With an award winning chef and our friendly staff Edgewood offers both fine and casual dining in an elegant club atmosphere.
The Edgewood pool & fitness center which opened in 2007 is another important aspect of the club . The state of the art facility offers recreational activities for the entire family. Our pool and pool deck area great place to spend the summer, our fitness center is open 12 months a year 7 days a week and is a great place to focus on your fitness goals and our massage service allows you to unwind after a stressful week.
